What we did:

The app rebranding the food delivery experience had ambitious growth targets in specific London & Paris postcodes, with the goal of reaching 5000 downloads within six weeks.

Never deterred by a lofty goal, we worked side-by-side with their in-house creative team on a strategy to combat audience fatigue, refreshing creative every two weeks and collaborating with a translator to make sure all foreign-language adverts were correct and on-brand. We also tested different ‘hooks’, eventually uncovering the most effective ways to take Taster users from download to first bite.

Results:
  • Generated 5000 downloads in 6 weeks, at the £6 per download KPI
  • Successfully scaled ad-spend to £25,000 per month, while maintaining download costs
  • Hook testing achieved a 20% download to first sale rate
  • Optimised creative and messaging across geographies, to test, learn and brief relevant new messaging for the right audiences
  • Increased average order value from £15 to £22
  • Decreased customer acquisition cost from £68 to £38
